RecurPost enables you to schedule engaging TikTok videos to keep your audience entertained and informed.

How to share a post on TikTok?

1. Connect your TikTok profile

To connect your TikTok profile, click on the ‘Social profiles’ menu on the left-hand side and click on the ‘TikTok’ option. If you already have some profiles on that page, then click on the ‘+ Connect profiles’ button on the top-right side, and then select the ‘TikTok’ option.

You will be redirected to TikTok’s login page if you are not already logged in. Provide RecurPost with the required permissions to add and schedule posts on your TikTok. No personal data or credentials will be saved.

2. Create a One-off Post

One-off posts are helpful when you want to schedule a single post on multiple profiles. These posts will be shared on your profiles just once. To create a One-off post,  click ‘Share a post’ from the left-side menu and select ‘Create a Post Manually‘.

A pop-up window will appear where you will be able to add your content. Add a description/caption, attach videos or images, import media from Canva, incorporate hashtags and emojis, insert links, and select their target TikTok profile. TikTok now also supports image carousels, so you can upload multiple photos as a single post.

Privacy Status

Choose who can watch your post: Public (everyone), Friends (mutual followers only), or Self Only (just you).

Allow users to (video posts only)

  • Allow Comments
  • Allow Duets
  • Allow Stitches

For image posts, only Allow Comments applies – TikTok does not support Duets or Stitches on photo content.

Disclosing Post Content

TikTok requires creators to disclose when content is promotional. Under Disclose post content, you will find two checkboxes:

  • Your brand: check this if the post promotes your own business, product, or service.
  • Branded content: check this if the post promotes a third party in exchange for payment or other compensation (a paid partnership).

You can select either, both, or neither depending on the content. If you check Branded content, TikTok will label the post as “Paid partnership” to viewers, per TikTok’s branded content policy. This setting applies to both video and image posts.

Photo Posts (image posts only)

  • Add Background Music: automatically adds TikTok-selected background music to image posts and carousels. Available for photo posts only, not video posts.

Once ready, either post immediately or schedule it for a specific date and time.

3. Posting Images to TikTok

Along with videos, RecurPost now lets you publish image posts and image carousels directly to TikTok.

To post an image, attach one or more photos in the composer as you normally would, then scroll down to TikTok Options. You will see a Photo Posts setting with an Add background music checkbox. You can attach up to 10 images to a single TikTok post; more than one publishes as a carousel.

TikTok Image upload

When enabled, TikTok automatically adds background music to your image post, matching the native TikTok photo-post experience and helping boost engagement. The music selection itself is handled entirely by TikTok – RecurPost simply passes along the request.

Note: the Add Background Music option only appears for image/photo posts and is not available for video posts.

4. Add Content to Libraries

You can fill up your libraries with awesome content and set a recurring schedule to make all that content go out in a loop on your TikTok profile. You can find all your content libraries under Libraries in the left menu.

When you sign up, some libraries will be created by default for you. You can edit or delete them, or create as many new libraries as you want.

Library content management screen

In these libraries, you will find a lot of options to add recurring posts. You can add a single post, add images/videos/text/link posts in bulk, add content through a CSV file, import content from a social profile, or set up an RSS feed. Read more…

5. Create a Recurring Schedule

After adding content to your libraries, you need to set a recurring schedule to let the posts go out on your social profiles. To set a recurring schedule, go to the library and navigate to the ‘Time slots’ section. Then click on ‘+ Add recurring time slots’ button.

Library content management screen

Here, you can select the frequency at which you want your posts to go out. Choose an option between Daily/Weekly, Monthly or Custom, set the time, and click on the ‘Add time slot’ button.

That’s it. All the posts in your libraries will be posted according to the set schedule(s).

Now, let’s see how your TikTok posts will appear once posted through RecurPost.

How will your posts appear on TikTok?

Your videos will appear on TikTok as uploaded, with captions, hashtags, and sound intact. TikTok prioritizes engaging and relevant content, so ensure your posts are optimized for your audience.

Here, you can upload Videos using the ‘ADD MEDIA’ option. You can also set the Privacy Status in your TikTok video and use engaging options like “Allow Comments”, “Allow Duets” and “Allow Stitches”.

For image posts, your photos will appear as a swipeable carousel on TikTok, with background music automatically added if you enabled that option.

Here is how those posts shall look.
