RecurPost Supports Posting on Facebook Profiles

Facebook made some changes to their platform in 2018 and due to that most of the social media scheduler stopped supporting Facebook Profiles as a platform to share posts to. RecurPost is not one of those platforms. We continue to support posting on Facebook profiles.

With the new changes, we let you post via push notifications. It is not as convenient as it used to be, but it is way better than having to post manually.

When it is time to post on your Facebook profile, we will send you a push notification on your phone. When you click on that push notification, we will copy your message in your phone’s memory and take you to the Facebook dialog. We will also copy your link over to Facebook automatically. All you need to do is to paste your message from your memory and you are good to go.

Here is a video showing you how it works:

As I mentioned earlier, currently we only support sharing links. If you want to share an image, we will host it on RecurPost and share a link to that image on Facebook. You will see the image on Facebook just fine, but it will show a link there. Also, if you are on our free plan it will show “Shared via RecurPost” under that image.
