In 2018, Facebook implemented changes to their platform which caused many social media scheduling tools to no longer support sharing posts on Facebook Profiles. However, RecurPost still allows posting on Facebook profiles.
With the new changes, we let you post via push notifications. It is not as convenient as it used to be, but it is way better than having to post manually.
RecurPost sends you a push notification on your phone at the scheduled time of posting on your Facebook profile. When you click on the push notification, your message gets copied to your phone’s memory following which you get directed to the Facebook dialog box. All you need to do is to paste your message from the phone’s memory and you are good to go.

Currently we only support sharing links when posting to Facebook profiles. If you wish to share an image, we will host it on RecurPost and share a link to that image on Facebook. You shall see the image on Facebook just fine, but it will show a link there. Furthermore, if you are on our free plan the post will show “Shared via RecurPost” under the image on Facebook profile.
