With our new design, RecurPost has made it more seamless and user-friendly than ever before to schedule your updates.
We have made scheduling easier to understand and visualize so you can carry out your social media operations smoothly and more quickly.
To begin creating a new schedule, click on your account name in the top right corner. In the drop-down menu, click on ‘Schedule’.
This is where you will be able to observe and edit your schedules. Keep in mind that the updates you see here are your recurring updates i.e. the updates that you want to keep using repeatedly.
One-off updates are not included in this table and can be found in your Queue instead.
In the ‘Schedule’ page, you can set new schedules according to Daily/Weekly basis, or Monthly basis. Let’s see how that works.
For example, let’s say that you have a library named “My Blog” and you want updates from this library to go out to your social accounts continually every Tuesday at 10 am.
To make that happen, first, click on the ‘Add Schedule’ button in the top right corner. On the following pop-up screen, you will need to select four things:
1. The Social Accounts that you wish to post on
2. The Content Library from which you want updates to go out
3. The Frequency at which you want to post (Weekly/Daily or Monthy)
4. The Time at which you want your updates to go live
If you can’t seem to figure out at which time you want to post, RecurPost also gives you an additional feature ‘Auto-schedule for best time’.
Through this feature, we help you find out the time when your updates are most likely to get the highest amount of traffic and engagement from your audience on social media.
The best part is, the more you use this feature, the better it gets!
Once you have selected those four things, go ahead and click on ‘Add Schedule’ on the pop-up. Your new schedule is now created and ready to send updates to your social accounts as per your settings.
Your new schedule will look a little something like this once it is set:
You can edit or delete these schedules later on if you wish by clicking on the ‘pencil’ icon and ‘trash’ icon respectively on the schedule.
Once you have a healthy amount of schedules, you can also view them according to the library they are pulling content from or the accounts they are targeting.
After adding a couple of schedules, your schedule page should look a little something like this:
To make things easier for you to manage, RecurPost also lets you copy and delete schedules in bulk. Let’s see how that works.
Let’s assume you want to copy all of your Thursday schedules. Simply click on the copy icon below ‘Thursday’ and you will see the following pop-up:
Click on your social account and then click ‘Next‘.
On the following pop-up, click on the account that you want to copy your schedule to. Then, click ‘Copy Schedule‘.
Keep in mind that you need at least 2 social accounts connected to RecurPost to be able to copy your schedules.
There you go! You have copied your schedules successfully. Go ahead and try this feature out yourself!
Now let’s see how to delete schedules in bulk. Let’s assume that you want to delete all of your Tuesday schedules. Simply click on the trash icon below ‘Tuesday’ and you will see the following pop-up:
Click ‘Yes, Delete‘ to delete all of your Tuesday schedules. Keep in mind that deleting schedules in an irreversible action. You will not be able to undo this action.
You can also choose to delete your entire schedule if you want to make a fresh new start by clicking on the trash icon below ‘Schedule‘.
However, we recommend you to do it after giving it a second thought. Like we said, deleting schedules is an irreversible action. Please do so carefully.
